Dipset West 1st release of 2011 is Begetz "POWER OF ATTRACTION". 26 tracks of unapologetic raw street music with style on a level you haven't heard in awhile. Begetz has been a key go to player in hip hop behind the scenes for a long time.
Begetz was introduced to the game by his brother, who came up rapping with hip hop veteran AZ. Hanging out on Utica Ave. with his brother led to work with some of New York’s rap legends. He ran Fulton Street with the Notorious B.I.G., honed his craft with Nas and recorded songs with Big L. Begetz quickly became a fixture in the underground hip hop community, brushing shoulders with Eve, 50 Cent and a host of hip hop’s rising stars.
Noted for his street flows and lightning fast writing skills, he wrote rhymes for Fredro Starr, while making appearances in movies and videos. His film debut in “Above the Rim,” opposite Tupac Shakur, led to prominent roles in videos for Jay-Z, Nas and Jermaine Dupri. Since then, he’s been on tour with Nelly, had his music featured in 2004’s “Soul Plane” and worked on a variety of independent film, television and video productions.
In between the on-camera work, Begetz is always on the grind pairing his matchless rhyme skills against a fresh crop of banging beats. Always in demand, he’s working on tracks for his CD debut.
